Custom Colour in Fairhaven

Fairhaven Frame House by Wolveridge Architects sits above the Great Ocean Road, shaped by wind, salt and ocean exposure. A recycled brick spine anchors the form, while a spotted gum exoskeleton is designed to weather over time. The plan balances southern views with northern light, unfolding into outdoor rooms—centred on a sheltered courtyard and extending to a deck with views toward Split Point Lighthouse and Lorne.

A compact upper level supports daily living, with a more generous lower level for guests. Inside, a warm material palette is unified by custom-coloured timber flooring applied throughout and carried into built elements, including a seat bench.
